The Pocono Mountain Ecumenical Hunger Ministry began in 1986 when a group of churches, ministries and organization recognized the need to supply emergency food for the needy in our area. We are a 501c3 organization manned solely by VOLUNTEERS providing food for from 250 to 300 families EACH and EVERY month and over 300 food baskets at Christmas and Thanksgiving.

    o Paradise Township
    o Pocono Township

WHO QUALIFIES

Clients MUST meet Federal and State Income Guidelines.

Please read the Declaration of Needs Form in the Who Qualifies Section. MUST reside in Monroe County.

Clients may be participating in other assistance programs, such as: Food Stamps, Access, etc.
